Carts Gone Wild started as a dream for Tony and Dana Hallam in 2003 while both were working full time. Tony started building customized golf carts out of their garage, and had a vision of starting a company which produced highly customized golf carts used by the rich and famous. He envisioned a business similar to the TV reality show Orange County Choppers. Tony always had a love for automobiles. He spent his teenage years learning to be a mechanic and restoring automobiles. During college, Tony worked as a Crew Member in competitive auto racing and spent time working at Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky as an intern. He graduated from Indiana State University in 1996 and went on to spend 15 years working as a Quality Engineer for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Indiana. He worked in vehicle validation testing, design development, and complete vehicle quality. Dana spent 12 years working for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in foreign trade, logistics, and parts ordering. Both shared dreams of someday building a small business from the ground up. Building something special, unique, and out of the ordinary. This dream began to take shape in 2003. (more)

Located in the Houston Texas area of League City, our business began in 2003 when we built our own tricked-out street legal golf cart. Before long, many of our friends and neighbors started asking if they could buy our cart or if we would build one for them. Word quickly spread and now we’re customizing, selling, and repairing carts as fast as we get them in and out, with shipping to all 50 states!
Our goal is always to make sure you, our customer, are satisfied! One way we do that is by providing honest and reliable sales and quick service at a very reasonable price – without sacrificing quality! We also try to provide you with a variety of options depending on your budget. The truth of the matter is, if we provide you with fast and friendly high quality service at a fair price, you’re likely to do business with us again – and you are probably going to tell someone else about us. After all, this is how our business was started!

ABOUT GULF COAST GOLF CARTS
David Dreher moved to Diamondhead, Mississippi after finishing school at The University of Southern Mississippi. He quickly realized that his new home was located in a fantastic golf cart community, and he bought his first cart and began customizing it. Unfortunately, he received less than quality parts and sub-par customer support. David knew this was his opportunity to do a better job, and in 2006, he started Gulf Coast Golf Carts right out of his home.
Customer service is of utmost importance at Gulf Coast Golf Carts and is a foundational principle instilled in our employees. GCGC hires bright, young, hardworking individuals, and the staff at Gulf Coast Golf Carts is always learning and growing to ensure the best experience for each customer. Scott Lightsey opened Ecco Motors in 2005 as a retirement project focusing on maintenance and repair of golf carts. Within a few years Ecco Motors expanded into a 12,000 square foot building offering sales, service and rentals of both Street Legal Carts and golf carts. Ecco Motors also occupies a 11,000 square foot storage building in Destin. Now a third location, dedicated to sales has opened at 36058 Emerald Coast Parkway, across from Regatta Bay.

We offer both Street Legal Carts and non-street legal carts. Brands include Club Car, Icon, Custom, Evolution and Bintelli brands. Perhaps the most exciting option is Ecco Motor’s own Signature Series. “The Signature Series truly allows any customer to design their own cart. We offer multiple body styles, colors, seats and seat configurations. There is also a plethora of accessories you can choose from. The Golf Kar Konnection is family owned by Michael and Peggy Roberts. Michael grew up in Winona and moved away to work for a golf car company for many years. After spending time working in the motorcycle industry for a couple of Harley-Davidson dealerships as a service manager, Michael still realized that he had a passion for the golf car industry.
Metrolina Carts
is a high-quality custom golf cart shop that serves Rock Hill, Fort Mill and Indian Land in South Carolina as well as Charlotte, North Carolina and the surrounding areas.
Metrolina Carts is a family-owned business that was founded in 2012 by father and son, Del and Bret Elliott. With Del’s extensive background in business ownership for the past 30 years and Bret’s eager desire to become a business owner, the two decided to serve the community and surrounding areas with a one-of-a-kind custom golf cart shop.
Our goal is, and has always been, to set the highest standard in quality and craftsmanship in the industry.
