Since 1998, Odyssey Sports Northwest was established with the desire to serve those in pursuit of vehicles for outdoor excursions. This was all envisioned by Tom and Carol Zenahlik. Their original vision for Odyssey Sports Northwest has taken full shape, and now the tradition is being carried on by Kirk and Sharon Nelson.
Kirk and Sharon Nelson, along with their family, live locally and look to serve those in pursuit of a variety of vehicles. They are uniquely suited to find solutions for people due to their backgrounds. As a long time member of the local golf community, Kirk knows exactly what golf cart suits your needs to improve your handicap. In addition, Sharon has been a professionally involved with the equine industry for over 27 years, and truly understands what it takes to manage a large property through the use of ATVs and UTVs. Therefore, she will listen, understand, and recommend the right solution for managing large properties, farms, and other various outdoor excursions.

The Store: Village Streetrod is the Factory Authorized Dealer for Streetrod Golf Cars in Central Florida. Our store is Golf Cart Accessible and located in the Palm Ridge Plaza on County Road 101 behind CVS and Bonefish on County Road 466 in The Villages, FL.
Village Streetrod is the only stand-alone Streetrod Golf Car dealer in the nation. We offer all Streetrod models and body styles and also offer custom “built to order” Streetrod Golf Cars. Villages Streetrod offers New and Pre-Owned Streetrod Golf Cars, as well as all other makes and models of pre-owned and refurbished golf carts.

Streetrod Golf Car History: Streetrod Golf Cars was founded in 1995 as Streetrod Productions, Inc. in Montezuma, Iowa. The focus of the company from Day 1 was to build a completely Custom Golf Car that gave the golf car owners the same excitement and enthusiasm as their favorite automobiles. Our products are not golf carts, they are the “World’s Finest Golf Cars!”
Founder Craig Schmidt started this dream in a garage and graduated to a state-of-the-art 22,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. In 2015, Streetrod Productions, Inc. was purchased by Pritchard Family Companies, headquartered in Clear Lake, IA. Pritchard’s roots begin in 1913 when they opened their first Ford Automobile dealership in Garner, IA. The passion for the Streetrod Golf Cars continues with the commitment to building the best quality products backed by the best dealer service in the industry!

From the time Scotty was young he has had a passion for working on vehicles and equipment. With over 20 years experience he has the knowhow to fix just about anything. When Scotty started working on golf carts a few years ago, he found a new passion for restoring and customizing carts, along with repairing anything that needs repaired. Scotty takes pride in his work and making sure things are done the right way.
Scott Lightsey opened Ecco Motors in 2005 as a retirement project focusing on maintenance and repair of golf carts. Within a few years Ecco Motors expanded into a 12,000 square foot building offering sales, service and rentals of both Street Legal Carts and golf carts. Ecco Motors also occupies a 11,000 square foot storage building in Destin. Now a third location, dedicated to sales has opened at 36058 Emerald Coast Parkway, across from Regatta Bay.

We offer multiple body styles, colors, seats and seat configurations. There is also a plethora of accessories you can choose from. We started this business in 2002 as a side line to our rental store. What began with 2 carts has evolved into a full time full service family run business. Our business has grown by word of mouth and repeat customers with virtually no advertising or marketing. In 2015 we began limited advertising and enhanced our repair facility.
