Streetrod Golf Car History: Streetrod Golf Cars was founded in 1995 as Streetrod Productions, Inc. in Montezuma, Iowa. Founder Craig Schmidt started this dream in a garage and graduated to a state-of-the-art 22,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. In 2015, Streetrod Productions, Inc. was purchased by Pritchard Family Companies, headquartered in Clear Lake, IA. Pritchard’s roots begin in 1913 when they opened their first Ford Automobile dealership in Garner, IA. Brad’s Golf Cars, Inc. was formed in 1992 by Brad and Velda Walsh. The Walsh family, in the golf car business since the 1960’s, has formed an organization of experienced golf car professionals.
Brad’s Golf Cars have been seen on DIY network as well as Speedvision and others. Since the early 1990’s the company has enjoyed tremendous growth.

Carts Gone Wild started as a dream for Tony and Dana Hallam in 2003 while both were working full time. Tony started building customized golf carts out of their garage, and had a vision of starting a company which produced highly customized golf carts used by the rich and famous. He envisioned a business similar to the TV reality show Orange County Choppers. Tony always had a love for automobiles. He spent his teenage years learning to be a mechanic and restoring automobiles. During college, Tony worked as a Crew Member in competitive auto racing and spent time working at Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky as an intern. He graduated from Indiana State University in 1996 and went on to spend 15 years working as a Quality Engineer for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Indiana. He worked in vehicle validation testing, design development, and complete vehicle quality. Dana spent 12 years working for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in foreign trade, logistics, and parts ordering. Both shared dreams of someday building a small business from the ground up. Building something special, unique, and out of the ordinary. This dream began to take shape in 2003. (more)

David Dreher moved to Diamondhead, Mississippi after finishing school at The University of Southern Mississippi. He quickly realized that his new home was located in a fantastic golf cart community, and he bought his first cart and began customizing it. Unfortunately, he received less than quality parts and sub-par customer support. David knew this was his opportunity to do a better job, and in 2006, he started Gulf Coast Golf Carts right out of his home.
Customer service is of utmost importance at Gulf Coast Golf Carts and is a foundational principle instilled in our employees.
